Greetings from NAMO Medical Education & Research Institute, Silvassa!
We are privileged to host the 53rd Annual National Conference of the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSMCON 2026) and 32nd State IAPSMCON 2026-Gujarat Chapter at NAMO Medical Education & Research Institute, Silvassa from 26th February 2026 to 1st March 2026. We are thrilled to bring together public health experts, academicians, thought leaders, policymakers and researchers to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration, meaningful connections and advance the field of preventive and social medicine to inspire positive changes.
As the nation strides towards its vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, the role of Preventive & Social Medicine and Public Health becomes more crucial than ever for healthier and developed India. Empowering the next generation of preventive medicine academia and public health leaders through education and capacity-building, IAPSM is at the forefront of driving initiatives that align with this vision.
The theme for IAPSMCON 2026 "Transforming Policy to Practice for a Healthier India" to realize the vision of The Way to Viksit Bharat @ 2047. This strategy requires a strong commitment to translate public health policies into effective, scalable, and sustainable practice that ensure equitable healthcare for all.
The on-ground implementation of policies is crucial in building a robust healthcare system which encompasses the evidence-based research, empowerment activities, multidisciplinary collaborative mechanism and innovative healthcare solutions in strengthening impactful changes for holistic development of healthier India.
